Neighborhoods

arvada, Colorado is a beautiful first-ring suburb of Denver, the Mile High City. Arvada retains a small-town feel even with its estimated population of 107,700. Established in 1870, Arvada enjoys a rich history, quiet tree-lined neighborhoods, and a robust mix of business. Our strong civic leadership balances quality of life with an understanding and support of business and economic development.

Arvada's land encompasses nearly 23,000 acres. Three proximate interstate highways provide easy access to the larger metropolitan region and Denver International Airport. An extraordinary trail system links with Denver trails on the east and the foothills of the Rocky Mountains to the west, punctuated with thousands of acres of parks and open spaces.

Tree-lined streets, open prairie, majestic views of the mountains and ample neighborhood parks make Aurora neighborhoods the ideal place to call home. Over 450 neighborhoods complete the fabric of the community.

The City of Englewood is centrally located within the Denver Metropolitan area.  Just south of Denver, Englewood is ideally situated for citizens, business people, and visitors.  Englewood offers a small town atmosphere of community with all the benefits of a larger metropolitan area nearby.

Highlands Ranch is a 22,000-acre master-planned community which was founded in 1981. The community has a population of 93,477 in 29,368 single family homes and 3,305 apartments. Highlands Ranch is located 12 miles south of Denver in Douglas County and offers a wonderful quality of life and opportunities for an active lifestyle.

Highlands Ranch has received national recognition for its great quality of life and amenities. It was recognized nationally by Forbes as one of the top places to move in the nation.  In 2010, Business Week also named Highlands Ranch one of the best places to raise kids.

The City of Littleton's history dates back to the 1859 "Pikes Peak" gold rush, which brought not only gold seekers, but merchants and farmers to the community. Richard Sullivan Little was an engineer from New Hampshire that made his way out west to work on irrigation systems. Little quickly fell in love with the area that is present day Littleton and brought his wife Angeline out from the East in 1862. The Littles, along with many neighbors, built the Rough and Ready Flour Mill in 1867, which provided a solid economic base in the community. By 1890, the community had grown to 245 people and the residents voted to incorporate the Town of Littleton.
