Mary was born in northern California. She moved to Colorado while in grade school and grew up in the Lakewood area. Graduating from Bear Creek High School in 1977, Mary then attended Colorado State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1981.
After several different successful occupations, including Denver Public School teacher, and bridal shop owner, Mary became a full time Real Estate broker. This field combined her interest in real estate and her passion & desire to work with and help people. With her husband, Mike, they formed their own company, Metro Brokers - BC Realty. As owners, Mike and Mary strive hard to give their buyers and sellers the care and commitment they deserve.
Mary’s passion for helping people is especially important in the current real estate market. With the large inventory of bank owned listings and lower priced homes, it’s perfect for people buying their first home. Mary specializes in helping first time homebuyers, patiently helping them through the process. She has close relationships with many lenders that also specialize in working with new buyers. These skills and relationships have helped Mary work successfully with DHA clients in the past and she has made long term friendships from the experience.
Mary’s personal interests include her husband Mike and her children, David and Amy. She also is a student of Iyengar yoga, and volunteers as a reading tutor in the District 51 public school system. Volunteering at the food bank has also become a priority. Most recently, Mary has become a board member of Metro Brokers Real Estate Inc. district 4 and is very excited to be a part of this expanding Colorado Real Estate Company. |
