Mary was born in northern California. She moved to Colorado while in grade school and grew up in the Lakewood area. Graduating from Bear Creek High School in 1977, Mary then attended Colorado State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1981.

After several different successful occupations, including Denver Public School teacher, Mary became a full time Real Estate broker.  This field combined her interest in real estate and her passion & desire to work with and help people.  With her husband, Mike, they formed their own company, Metro Brokers - BC Realty.

As office owners, Mike and Mary strive hard to give their agents, buyers and sellers the care and commitment they deserve. Mary’s passion for helping people is especially important in the current real estate market. 

With the large inventory of bank owned listings and lower priced homes, it’s perfect for people buying their first home.  Mary specializes in helping first time homebuyers, patiently helping them through the process.  She has close relationships with many lenders that also specialize in working with new buyers. 

A Past board of director at Metro Brokers Inc. and head of the education committee, Mary added accredited CE classes for MBI members which are available online and in classrooms, all over the state.  Mary is very excited to be a part of Metro Brokers at the board level and will continue to contribute her time and talents to this great expanding Colorado Real Estate Company.

Recently, Mary and Mike opened up a new Metro Broker office in Lakewood, Metro Brokers Bear Creek, located on Wadsworth, just south of Yale.  It is a fabulous location and office space with state of the art technology and comfort.  We look forward to serving the community for many years to come!

In addition, Mary is a listing agent that knows the current market.  She is also an expert at selling short sales.  Many clients have sought out her advise and experience selling SHORT SALE properties.  With the challenging economy, many Coloradoans are finding themselves without jobs or are transferred out of town.  In these situations, due to no fault of the home owner, they must sell for less than they owe.  That is when Mary steps in to negotiate with the bank holding the loan, to agree to take less that what is owed.  A successful sale is the goal and Mary will get you to the closing table as fast as possible.

Mary’s personal interests include her husband Mike and her children, David and Amy. She also is a student of Iyengar yoga, Jazzersize and volunteers as a reading tutor in the District 51 public school system, Seniors' Resource Center, Colorado Cerebral Palsy Association and Volunteering at the food bank has also become a priority as well as helping with Habitat for Humanity. We believe in giving back to the community and will strive to accomplish this ever chance we get!
