Firelight at Highlands Ranch is a neighborhood of approximately 1,850 homes ranging from the mid $200s to over $1 Million. Homebuilders include Beazer (formally Sanford), Berkeley, Joyce, Richmond, Ryland, and Shea Homes. Firelight's first homes were constructed in 2000 and continued through 2006.

Firelight is part of the Highlands Ranch Community Association, which includes access to the four recreation centers, trails and parks, and it also has a sub-association that provides for weekly trash service as well as it own park & trail system that meanders through the neighborhood offering multiple playgrounds, walking trails and picnic areas.
