I am a true Professional Realtor, both Honest and Ethical, with The Hickerson Group at Metro Brokers specializing in helping my clients to buy and sell homes and land.  I have worked hard to become a Broker/Owner and obtain the ABR, CDPE, GRI, SFR, and SRES professional designations so I can offer my clients an excellent background in real estate. As a Realtor with the CDPE designation, I can help sellers in financial distress avoid foreclosure.  I am educated in both the foreclosure and short sell processes.  I can also assist home buyers in successfully navigating the process when buying a short sale or foreclosure property.  

As a Jefferson County native, I am very familiar with the cities of Arvada, Centennial, Parker, West Denver, Golden, Lakewood, Littleton, Morrison, and Wheat Ridge and the communities of Applewood, Arabian Estates, Belleview Acres, Belleview Farms, and Woodlane.  I am a member of the South Metro Denver Realtor Association, the Colorado Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.

Judy Hickerson passed away this year and she is greatly missed. 

She was a true professional and a great person to work with.

I have been selling real estate, full-time, for more than 30 years. Due to relocation with my husband’s career, I've been fortunate enough to sell real estate in three states which has been a true asset. Once I had my family and home settled, I began helping others find their next home – since we had just moved I used my experiences to guide my clients. I hold several real estate designations, and love my work as much as the first day that I began to sell and list real estate.

Joe and I have been blessed with 2 wonderful children, Loni and Michael; four of the most adorable grandchildren you have ever seen – Taylor, Ethan, Josie and Will. Oh yes, we also have two beautiful four-legged spoiled kids…Molly, a Sheltie, and Kaylee, a Maltese. We’ve been residents of Colorado since 1989; in 2004 we relocated to Broomfield from the Highlands Ranch (Littleton) area to be closer to our children and grandkids.

When I am not working, something that is usually rare, I enjoy sewing, photography, playing games and meeting friends for dinner. I enjoy trading recipes with everyone I meet! I love to travel, especially trips in the mountains or to the ocean, with a little Las Vegas thrown in!

Because I have devoted a great deal of time to my career and fulfilling my customers needs, I have accumulated a variety of awards, certificates and memberships many Realtors may never achieve.  

My most prized accolade comes from satisfied customers.
