I began my career in the insurance industry in 1989 with State Farm Insurance as a Customer Service Sales Person, and then with American Family Insurance in 1996 as an Insurance Agent. In 2003, I decided to become an Insurance Broker in order to offer my clients more options for their ever-changing needs. Recently I also became a licensed Real Estate Agent. In addition to providing for my clients insurance needs, I am now able to help them better understand the changes in the real estate market, and to provide them with additional options for their retirement portfolios through investing in real estate opportunities. I hope that my clients will consider this a tremendous asset as I am now able to offer all of these services with the same level of customer service and satisfaction that I continuously strive to provide. My interest in real estate began with my belief that families of every economic situation deserve a clean and desirable home in which to live. At the same time, I also felt that landlords deserved to have good strong tenants for their properties. As a Realtor specializing in investment properties and particularly property management, I am now able to provide a bridge of communication between tenant and landlord which minimizes the opportunity for personal conflicts and hardships between the two parties. My 21 years of experience in the insurance agency has taught me how to deal with conflict and most importantly, how to help people understand and solve the problems they face on a daily basis. I graduated Fort Lewis College, Durango, CO, with a B.S. in Business Administration. Through the years I have been involved with the local Chambers of Commerce, Rotary, NAIFA, Boy Scouts of America, American Cancer Society, Boulder Professional Women, and my local church. |
