Creating peace of mind for First Time Home Buyers is my first and most important priority.
1st -I schedule a sit down appointment to ask many questions about what their needs are in a home. Which include, but are not limited to, location, bedrooms, baths, basement, garage, yard size, any special needs, price range plus many others.
(I always search within a client’s price range and never go up unless they request it)
2nd - I also spend the time, within this first appointment, to educate them about the process; which includes, a step-by-step explanation of what they will experience. Plus, a lengthy, but not overwhelming, explanation of their rights within the contracts and disclosures involved.
(Spending this important time with First Time Home Buyers puts them at ease. They can now look at homes without feeling anxious about what’s going to happen next.)
3rd - I show them homes that most clearly fit their needs and, after finding one, I walk them through the process with care and understanding and with the goal of negotiating the best deal for them in regards to price and inspection items.
Last - The closing. This time is fun for them because they are so excited to move into their first home.
