I was lucky to be born into a Real Estate active family. My Father, Fred was a Real Estate Broker in Illinois in the 1960's. We moved to Colorado Springs in the early 1970's. I bought my first house at age 16 and had my Real Estate license by my Senior year of High School. I've been a member of the Pikes Peak Association of Realtors since 1979. Whew time flies!

I live on the Westside and love the area. I have four grown children and now am a proud Grandfather to 12!  In my off hours I enjoy playing handball, pickleball and I shoot pool in a league. 

I joined RE/MAX in 1988. I hold several designations, GRI (Graduate Real Estate Institute), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), RE/MAX Hall of Fame Member, and I've received the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award.

In January of 2024 I became an Independent Broker Owner of Lechner Real Estate under Metro Brokers and work out of the Metro Brokers office in Downtown Colorado Springs.

My wife and I are both real estate investors, owning many rental properties, as well as Short Term Rentals.  Combined our experience is in Residential and Commercial Real Estate, Investment Properties, Short Term Rentals and New Home Sales.
